How do hydrocolloid patches work?
Hydrocolloid is a moisture-absorbing material originally used in wound care. On a surface spot it gently draws fluid into the patch and creates a protected environment that keeps dirt and fingers away.
Why does the patch turn white?
That's a good sign. As the hydrocolloid absorbs fluid it swells and turns an opaque white.
How long should I wear a Cleardot?
Wear for 6 to 8 hours, or overnight, following the instructions on your pack. When the patch has turned white or starts to lift, gently peel it off and apply a fresh one if needed.
Which size should I choose?
Use 8mm for smaller surface spots and 12mm when you want a little more coverage. Every box contains both sizes.
What if my skin is sensitive?
Every skin is different. Read the ingredients and instructions on your pack, patch-test first and stop use if irritation occurs. Avoid irritated or broken skin.
